A Conservative Liberal

I intend to write here what I think and what I learn. Most of what I write here will be about politics.

Mann Coulter

More evidence Coulter is Intersexual

* Coulter's Connecticut driver's license lists her birth as December 1961.
* Her D.C. driver's license, acquired many years later, says she was born in December 1963.

Now I don't know much about sexual assignment surgery but I know it doesn't take place over night and that people with intersexual children often have second birth certificates issued to conceal their childs sexual nature.

you ever get the feeling someone wants to smack you?

so the right is all about freedom and individualism eh?

All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.

Socialism is a fraud, a comedy, a phantom, a blackmail.

"The socialists ask what is our program? Our program is to smash the skulls of the socialists."

The truth is that men are tired of liberty.

Blood alone moves the wheels of history.

"It is better to live one day as a lion, than a hundred years as a sheep."

"If I advance, follow me. If I retreat, kill me. If I die, avenge me."

"Believe, Obey, Fight!"

"If every age has its own characteristic doctrine, there are a thousand signs which point to fascism as the characteristic doctrine of our time."

The Liberal State is a mask behind which there is no face; it is a scaffolding behind which there is no building.

"War is to man as maternity is to woman."

"Against individualism, the Fascist conception is for the State ... Liberalism denied the State in the interests of the particular individual; Fascism reaffirms the State as the true reality of the individual."

"Given that the nineteenth century was the century of Socialism, of Liberalism, and of Democracy, it does not necessarily follow that the twentieth century must also be a century of Socialism, Liberalism and Democracy: political doctrines pass, but humanity remains, and it may rather be expected that this will be a century of authority ... a century of Fascism. For if the nineteenth century was a century of individualism it may be expected that this will be the century of collectivism and hence the century of the State."

"Another weapon I discovered early was the power of the printed word to sway souls to me. The newspaper was soon my gun, my flag - a thing with a soul that could mirror my own."

Of the Vets I spoke to

Bob T. volunteered to serve in Vietnam where he rose to the rank of Sergeant. He told me that like Ron Kovic he wanted to be a good American. Then when he got back home he realized that "I was a pawn" and Nixon was not going to end the war soon.

Jim(?) was a vet of the Iraq war (I think the second one). He told me he had worked with engineers of some sort and had gone into a ammunition dump in Iraq where he found to his horror that more than 1/3 of the weapons were clearly marked "made in the U.S.A." He said with no doubt in his voice that Saddam was an evil man and while he doesn't like Bush he's glad Saddam is no longer in power.

Pete is a member of Vets for Peace. He was greatful for a copy of the Rolling Stone article that can also be found on my blog. He's also a member of Vector(?)

Mike(?) showed up most people had left. He was scruffy looking but spoke politely so I showed him the same respect. Turned out he had joined the army in 1986 and had patrolled border in Germany, I think Czechoslovakia and possibly another country. He said America had done the right thing then and that the Russian Government (not the people) was brutal. He also felt Bush was a chickenhawk and that the American Legion was wrong in it's attempt to suppress anti-war activity "by any means necessary".[6] This was meaningful if for no other reason because he was a member!

I also ran across this today

CTA

Arnold is screwing with the CTA.

I know that when you join the CTA you can designate your dues not go to political activities but to a number of non political charities.

So why does he want it on the ballot?

The Vets for peace rally today

Well it's starting off shakey thanks to one of the organizers getting in a car wreak and to further complicate the matters he was transporting the PA system.

So far about 30 people have showed up.

I hope the rain doesn't discourage them to much.

The Conservative Klan and other news

http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/metropolitan/3429452

In others news Jesus didn't think money was important and recomended people not care about it.

Needless to say conservative couldn't deal with this and other such hippie ideas so they had him killed.

Last night I dreamed that either Rove or Cheney got indicted.

I wonder if it was a prophetic dream?

Tomorrow I plan to speak to local members of vets for peace.

and on the lighter side of the news Trent minorities-have-no-genitals Lott is questioning Rove's employment.
